My hero is Ken Kutaragi, the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Computer Entertainment. I chose Ken Kutaragi, "Father of Playstation" as my hero because he created Playstation 2, Playstation portable, and Playstation 3. And I enjoy playing all of them.
"My hero was born August 8, 1950 in Tokyo, Japan. Much about his family is unknown, but his parents are owners of a family printing business. Ken Kutaragi lived in Tokyo his whole life and most facts about his life are unknown. Ken Kutaragi was born in Tokyo, Japan. His parents, although not wealthy by Japanese standards, still managed to own their own business - they ran a small printing plant in the city. As Kutaragi grew into childhood, they actively encouraged the young boy to explore his mechanical abilities in the plant, and he worked after school there. Aside from his duties in his parents' factory, Kutaragi was a studious, high-level student; he was often described as a "straight A++", student."(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Kutaragi)
Ken is important to me because of the things he made. I am a fan of Playstation 3 and a lot of the games playable with it. Ken Kutaragi is great at making games and game consoles. He made the Playstation 2, Playstation portable, and the Playstation 3. My favorite Playstation 3 games are Metal Gear Solid 4, Burnout Paradise, and Grand Theft Auto 4. Ken made video games a lot more fun.
I would like to make games like Ken or maybe even better because he is amazing at his job. Ken was the kind of person to always try and be smart. He had chosen the way for him to make people happier. Ken's games never get boring. You will just want to play it all day. He gives me hope in games. So he should give everyone else hope. I do believe Sony changed this world and Ken made it better.
As Ken Kutaragi said, "As SCE enters its second decade, we need to reinforce our games development power and create new entertainment experiences that will bring out the best of the technology in platforms such as PSP, PlayStation 3 and beyond."
