Could you believe someone with stuttering problems is now one of the best rappers in the world?  Kendrick Lamar is, a rapper that gained a lot of fame this year.  Mainly because of his new album that dropped on Good Friday.  Even if you stutter that isn't a problem. you can still make great music like Kendrick.  His parents Kenny Duckworth and Paula Oliver grew up on $500 pockets to raise Kendrick.  Kenny's dad was in a very bad gang.  Being a good father, he did anything to make Kendrick safe.  Kendrick is smart because he knows how to make music people love.  He is hard-working because he had to work up from a poor family with gang violence to be famous with money.  Kendrick Lamar is a hero because he inspires people to make music even if they have problems like him.  If they put their mind to it they can be successful.

Kendrick Lamar is a smart man because he was a straight A student and started writing songs at the age of 13.  Kendrick was in a very bad place to be when he was born.  "Born Kendrick Lamar Duckworth on June 17, 1987, in Compton, CA. ("Kendrick Lamar." Contemporary).  My hero is Kendrick Lamar Duckworth.  His parents are Kenny Duckworth and Paula Oliver.  He was born in Compton  in a neighborhood associated with a lot of gang violence.  By not being in a gang it changed his life.  If he was in one he probably would have died early and never would have been a top rapper.   He was a very good student in school.  Being one, it helped him in his rap game.  "At Centennial High School, Lamar was a straight-A student. "By the time he was a secondary school student, he was an accomplished budding rapper."("Kendrick Lamar." Newsmakers).  You could tell Kendrick was smart because he was a straight A student.  He wrote rhymes at the age of 13.  He wrote his first major label songs at the age of 25.  Kendrick went from having problems with speech to being a top rapper.  Kendrick Lamar has to be even smarter because his new album is getting even more hits. A lot of people played his music.  Doing that, it pushed him to make more music.

Kendrick Lamar is a hard-working individual because he won multiple Grammy's plus he got to collaborate with some on the best songwriters today.  Kendrick met many famous people in his rap life.  "In 2012 Dr. Dre signed Lamar to his Aftermath label (a subsidiary of Interscope Records) to release his "official" full-length debut"("Kendrick Lamar." Contemporary).  You have to work hard to get signed with Dr. Dre, Taylor Swift, and a lot of other great rappers.  He has to work hard in order to be high in the rap game.  He can´t put out bad music and be high in the rap game.  Kendrick won a lot of awards in his early years.  "Grammy Award for best rap song, Recording Academy, for "I," 2014; Grammy Award for best rap performance, Recording Academy, for "I," 2014; Grammy Award for best rap album,"("Kendrick Lamar." Newsmakers).  He works hard for Grammy's and other rewards.  Getting a Grammy is not easy, you have to be very good.  He also go rookie of the year.  He got it a little after he signed with Aftermath.  There is a lot of rookie rappers and out of all of them he got the award.  Kendrick is one of the most hard-working people I know.  He came up from nothing and now has everything.

Kendrick Lamar is a hero because he came up from nothing and now he is a big idol for some people.  He is both hard-working and smart.  Kendrick Lamar is smart because he grew up in a poor family and bad neighborhood but still got straight A's.  He started writing songs at 13 years old.  Kendrick is hard-working because he makes music that most of the people that listen to it like it.  Also he won rookie of the year and a couple Grammy's.  You have to work hard for those awards.  Kendrick Lamar is inspiring because he had stuttering problems and now he has to rap all his songs. If he stutters it will make it bad.  Â¨ Lamar is considered a heir to the West Coast hip-hop tradition that rose to prominence in the 1980s and gained commercial success in the 1990s" ("Kendrick Lamar." Contemporary).  He is inspiring because he started out as a school students writing rhymes to a heir of the West Coast.   "As a kid, I used to stutter. I think that's why I put my energy into making music. That's how I get my thoughts out, instead of being crazy all the time."("Kendrick Lamar." Newsmakers).  Even if he has life problems he still accomplishes huge goals.  Kendrick was a very influential person because he was a normal person until he started rapping.  Rapping wouldn't be the same without Kendrick.
