My hero is Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is my hero because he is my favorite NBA basketball player and he likes to help out with charities for poor people. Kobe Bryant, an NBA player was born August 23, 1978 in Pennsylvania. He started playing basketball at age 3. At age 17 Kobe was the youngest NBA starter ever. Kobe Bryant never attended college because he was so good at basketball he went straight to playing NBA basketball

Kobe Bryant has started helping out with charities since he was 24 years old. Kobe is important to me because he is my favorite basketball player and he has hosted many charity events. Some day I would like to host a charity event just like Kobe. Even though Kobe Bryant probably has a lot of money, he still uses a lot of it for charities. Kobe has inspired me to start playing basketball, and help a lot with charities. Kobe Bryant has managed to win 4 NBA championships over a 13 year period (which is pretty amazing in my opinion).

Kobe Bryant has won over 30 NBA awards. Kobe Bryant makes around $23,000,000 dollars a year. Kobe won the MVP (most valuable player) award in 2008. Kobe averages 25.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. These are some really amazing stats over Kobe's NBA career. Kobe is the National Ambassador for After-School All-Stars. This organization helps keep kids safe after school where kids are likely to join gangs, smoke cigarettes, and experiment with drugs, and alcohol. The after-school programs include academics support, and personal enrichment opportunities.

Kobe is hoping to win another NBA championship ring this year. In the 2009/2010 season Kobe Bryant became the Lakers' all time leading scorer passing Jerry West�s amazing 25,192 points. Kobe Brant is 12th all time on the NBA scoring list. He is also 26th all time in steals with 1,554 steals. On April 18th, 2001 in California Kobe Bryant got married to Vanessa Lain. That's pretty much why Kobe is my favorite hero.
