Kerri Strug

My hero, Kerri Strug, is a hero because she helped kids follow their dreams like she followed her dream. She also came through for her team by doing two vault with a broken foot when she did that vault she earned a 9.712 that just amazing! She helped the country bring home the gold medal for the first time. Thats why Kerri Strug is a hero.

Kerri Strug early life Kerri was that she was the youngest of three kids. She was born on November 19, 1977, in Tucson, Arizona. She had one brother named Kevin and a sister named Lisa. When Kerri was five her mom would always say, Dont walk on your hands walk on your feet! When she was fourteen she was in the 1992 Olympics team. Isnt that amazing! When Kerri was fourteen, she went to green field high school. When she was fifteen till eighteen she left home to go do gymnastic at Belles, a gym run by Bella Karolyi, a famous russian.

Kerri had many nagging injures throughout her career. Kerri would always compare herself to others. That was not a good thing to do.

Kerri has a contribution. Her contribution was by doing two vaults with a broken foot and got the team the gold medal from a score of 9.712.

Kerri Strug had many awards and honors let me tell you a couple of them. First she took first place on vault at the 1991 championships. The team earned the bronze medal. The team earned the 1994 championships by coming in second place at the meat. A year after switching to Bella she won the American cup all-around. In the 1996 Olympics Kerri Strug did the most AMAZING vault she needed to get a 9.712 to get the gold and she did.

Here are three character traits. The first is persistent Kerri is persistent because she made it to the summer Olympic. She is also persistent because left home at the age 14 to go do gymnastic at Bella. But two years later she moved back to Arizona. Her second trait is talented because she could do the balance beam, uneven bars, floor, and vault. Her third trait is courage because she did two vaults on a broken foot. She also had courage by going to the summer Olympics with hundreds of people watching her.

So I think Kerri Strug had a very good life by following her dreams and also helped other kids follow there dreams I think that Is amazing, do you?
