MY HERO

My hero is a gorilla named Koko. She has inspired my life because she has taught me that animals have feelings too!

Koko was born on the fourth of July, 1971. She was taught American sign language by Dr.Penny. She can say things like…that, red, she can even say sentences. Koko is still alive today. There is a book about Koko and her kitten.

She chose a tailless tabby for her birthday. She is 34 years old and has a mate named Ndume. She has always wanted a child. Her husband is 25. Ndume is also 400 pounds! She knows how to read short books. Koko saved tons of animals! She lived in a wild life sanctuary in Africa I believe. She is a great mother, I think she is too !! I believe she has taught many people that animals have feelings too!!!!
