Lt Frank Luke Jr is my hero. You will see a life in the eyes of a WW1 fighter pilot. He is my hero for many reasons.

This paragraph is about Frank’s amazing life accomplishments. In world war one Frank was the second scoring ace. On September 12, 1918, he shot down his first enemy balloon. He earned the Medal of Honor, Distinguished Flying Cross. He also earned the Medal of Bravery. Did you know Luke AFB, Arizona is named after LT Luke Frank.

Frank’s personal information is very interesting. Frank was born in Phoenix, Arizona. His parents were German immigrants, and were one of nine children. He lived in the mining town of Globe Arizona. Frank died on September 29, 1918 when he was shot out of the sky. The LT was not killed in the crash, but killed in a gun battle with German soldiers.

Frank Luke has many important traits. Frank is brave because instead of returning to the base for medical treatment Frank kept flying. He also had courage. For example, JR crashed and took out his pistols and fought until his death. He was also smart because Luke learned to be a pilot. He was a hard worker. For example, the LT had to go through Flight Training school.

LT Luke had many life goals. One of these goals was to become a pilot, which happened did on July 26, 1918. Another goal was to shoot down his first plane, which happened on October 12, 1918. A third goal was to be part of the “balloon busting” team. He never became part of that team.

LT Frank Luke had a very interesting life. His life goals, personal information, life accomplishments and important traits show his heroism. He is my hero because he fought for the United States of America’s freedom.
