I have been aware of the fashion designer Lauren Conrad, for a while now. I first saw Lauren Conrad on the television show, Laguna Beach. I have been interested in fashion for as long as I can remember, and Conrad is a wonderful designer. What attracts me is that she is just like me, growing up in Orange County, and then becoming a designer. She has worked very hard to get to where she is today, and I am aware that I will need to do the same. Her designs are also intriguing; they are fun and trendy and they catch my eye. I would love to be able to follow her footsteps in many ways.

Lauren Conrad is a fashion designer, and she is twenty-three years old. She was first introduced to the public on the television show, Laguna Beach. Later on she was on her own show called The Hills. She started with an internship at Teen Vogue, and that branched out to her having her own line of clothing. Conrad attended school at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). That is where she learned some of her techniques, but Conrad pretty much entered the fashion business on her own. The salaries of fashion designers depend on how popular the clothing line is, and how many people buy the items.

Since she was a little girl, Lauren Conrad has wanted to be a fashion designer. She realized it in just the sixth grade that she wanted to be a part of the fashion world. Starting at a young age allowed Conrad to develop the skills needed for designing clothing. This suggests her love of fashion, and that this was the right career for her. She was very successful in college, getting accepted to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). She followed the right path into the fashion industry. She worked on her skills and knowledge of fashion in college, then pursued it on her own.

Lauren Conrad helps people in an indirect way. She helps people out by designing clothes that they can wear everyday or to special events. She contributes to society by letting anyone purchase her clothes, short or tall, fat or skinny, it doesn’t matter. Conrad also helps others by being the spokes person for Mark cosmetics. Therefore, she makes the public aware of the makeup products, and then they want to buy them. People do this because they admire her, and want to be like her.

In order to follow the path of my personal hero, I will need to put in a lot of effort and time. My high school goals include getting straight A’s, and to start designing clothes. My college goals include getting in to The Fashion Institute of Design And Merchandising (FIDM).If I get accepted there, I want to do well, and take as many classes as possible. I have many lifetime goals, a major one is to be successful, and be able to provide for my family.
