Leonardo DiCaprio is my hero. I've seen a bunch of his movies and they are all good. He inspires me and when i grow up i want to be a actor. He's played in lots of movies and if you see them you would like them.
Leonardo DiCaprio was born in Hollywood, California on November 11,1974. His parents are George and Irmelin DiCaprio. He has a step brother named Adam. In the early 1980's he acted in the TV show Lassie. One funny thing is that me and Leonardo are the same. We both hate to take baths. He is afraid of death, but he believes in life after death and the supernatural.
DiCaprio once said that playing Arnie in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" was "the most fun I've ever had." He earned his first Academy Award nomination for the role in the Supporting Actor category. He has since been nominated for Best Actor for "The Aviator" and "Blood Diamond. During the filming of "Blood Diamond," DiCaprio worked with 24 orphaned children from the SOS Children's Village in Maputo, Mozambique, and was said to be extremely touched by his interactions with the children. His mom named him Leonardo because she was looking at a Leonardo painting and he kicked.
He has been given three Oscars already. He has been nominated for five Golden Globes,
Leo's a long-time environmentalist. He believes and wants the world to be a better place. He does not use gas. He has a BMW that runs on hydrogen. He is dedicated to this and so am I so the earth can be a better place.
