Lady Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 and born in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. Her parents are Joseph, an Internet entrepreneur, and Cynthia, a telecommunications assistant. The album's lead single, "Just Dance", was released on April 8, 2008 and had reached number one in five countries. Her stage name, Lady GaGa, is a reference to the song "Radio Ga-Ga" by Queen. Interscope music executive Vincent Herbert hired her in January 2008 as a music writer. Her song "Boys, Boys, Boys" was inspired by Mötley Crüe's hit "Girls, Girls, Girls", and she calls her fans Monsters. (1)

When Lady Gaga was a little girl, she would sing along on her mini plastic tape recorder to Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper hits and get twirled in the air in daddy’s arms to the sounds of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. The adorable child would dance around the table at fancy restaurants using the breadsticks as a baton, and she would innocently greet a new babysitter in her birthday suit. That goal might seem arrogant, but consider the artist: Gaga is the girl who at age 4 learned piano by ear. By age 13, she had written her first piano ballad. At 14, she played open mike nights at clubs such as New York’s the Bitter End by night and was teased for her quirky, bizarre style by her Convent of the Sacred Heart School classmates by day. At age 17, she became was one of 20 kids in the world to get early admission to Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Signed by her 20th birthday and writing songs for other artists (such as the Pussycat Dolls, and has been asked to write for a series of artists) before her debut album was even released, Lady Gaga has earned the right to reach for the sky. Personally Lady Gaga is really inspiring to me, not just by her songs but by the way she acts and dresses. She has a interesting unique voice that so many fans love to hear, including me. You can tell on the radio when you hear a new song by her, because her voice does not sound like everyone else's. She also has this sense of style that I love. She will dress however she wants, from a short black dress to a dress made of meat! I have this panda hat I love to death and people give me weird looks like when Lady Gaga showed up in a meat dress!

Overall she is inspiring to me, and I look up to her. We both have a weirdness of our own. I am proud to say I am a Monster!
