This Platinum Blond singer who put a different outlook on music. She's known for her futuristic outfits being what some people would call "crazy", and hair being pulled up into what looks like a bow. Her famous song "Poker Face". Some people may think of her as a crazy lady but to me she's a very creative person looking to change the music industry. She always performs with a a disco stick that looks sort of like a cane. She also calls all of her fans "Monsters" and always features two Great Danes in her music videos.

I think personally a hero is someone you can look up to. Someone that inspires you to be like them. A hero can be anyone in the world. I chose Lady Gaga because she is very independent. She's creative and outgoing.

Born March 28, 1986 in Yorkers, New York City. Lady GaGa who's real name is Stefani Joan Angelina Germanotta. Her dad Joseph, an internet entrepreneur, and her mom Cynthia is a telecommunications assistant. At four years old Lady Gaga learned how to play the piano. When she was 13 she wrote her first piano ballad and when she was 14 she began performing at open mic nights. She's a natural brunette, she bleached her hair because she kept getting mistaken for Amy Winehouse. She attended the same school as Paris Hilton. She also states that "She's very into fashion and it's everything".

When she was a little girl she would dance and twirl around the house to Micheal Jackson and Cyndi Lauper. She designed many of her stage costumes that you see when she performs. She got the name Lady "GaGa" from one of Queens song's "Radio GaGa". She was also one out of 20 students that got granted an early admission to Tisch School of the Arts in NYC. Lady GaGa was influenced by David Bowie, Madonna, Queen and Michael Jackson. She also went through some hardships. When she was 17 she moved out of her home and moved into the lower east side. Where she got into the wrong group and started doing drugs and showing up at dive bars with go go dancers. She says, "her father couldn't even look at me." He didn't undertsand.

Lady GaGa is my hero because she's creative, and she's independent. She's independent because when she started making music no one helped or supported her. No one came to her, she went to them. Lady GaGa got a contract on her own. She made it to the top for being an artist and realized no one was there to help her. So she did it on her own and that's why she's my hero. I look up to her because even though no one was there to help or support her she kept going. She didn't give up and that's why she is successful today.

A Hero is someone you look up to whether it be someone famous or someone in your family. You can always count on them. Lady GAGA is my hero for many, many reasons. She's creative and independent and very successful. She never gave up. When everyone left she never backed down. I look up to her for that. I believe if you get to the top and notice no one is there, don't give up. You'll make it if you keep trying and giving all you've got.
