Have you ever heard of a basketball player that also helps others? Well, let me introduce you to LeBron James! He has done this for four years already, but first, let's talk about his background. LeBron James became a star immediately after skipping college to join the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers. He led the Miami Heat to NBA titles in 2012 and 2013, and won a third championship with Cleveland in 2016." ("LeBron James.", para 1 ) He currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio. A hero must be caring and be a great leader to help and inspire younger people. Lebron says that you have to take pride in what you do and basketball first. He says that you shouldn't think about anything else and just think about basketball when you play. LeBron James been a inspiring basketball player as he is been caring, an important role model.

A reason that LeBron can be a hero he is that he's caring. Lebron has set up a foundation, as it says: "He established the LeBron James Family Foundation in 2004, along his mother Gloria, to help out children and single-parent families in need" ("LeBron James."). This percents that he loves younger kids and that he loves to help improve their lives. He has founded a program to help and support the kids in need, which he loves the most out of other children. He has love to people that need help and wants to help them figure out their problem. To have the means to care for others others, Lebron also needs to do well in his career. He does that when:"LeBron has an incredible opportunity this season to add one more historic accomplishment to his laundry list of accolades, and that's an opportunity that he's not going to let slip away easily" (Emerick 14). He shows his care by doing good for his friends and family. He is also a very good motivator by telling them that you have to do better and practice everyday, so this shows that he's a caring person. In the end, LeBron is caring because he has set up a foundation and does well in his career in basketball.

The next reason LeBron James is a hero is that he is a role model. LeBron has been really similar to Michael Jordan, but: "When you focus on the LeBron and Jordan comparison, which is the most realistic comparison based on position and role, it's clear that they are both on the same level" (Emerick, 9). This is inspiring because it helps us know that there is a good future for basketball. This also says that there is a player that is the way LeBron James plays, so there is hope for young kids.

This quote shows that LeBron was lucky that they signed him a contract.This is inspiring because it shows that you can make lots of money by having contracts. In the end, LeBron is inspiring because he has a good future for young basketball players and his partnership with Warner Bros.

LeBron James is a hero because he is an excellent role model and is also very caring toward others. LeBron James shows how caring he is by helping teenagers to get scholarships and by putting around fifty million into building a foundation that helps kids and families get food and a good education. LeBron James inspires me and others to practice every day so that I can continue to get better and better at basketball. He helps others by donating money to help people in need. Lebron has made an incredible impact because he has not just pushed himself to be the best that he can be, but also millions of people around the world.
