A renaissance person is someone who will change the future with their brilliant ideas. A renaissance person is also someone who is the rebirth of the spirit to push the limits of literacy, art, science and technology for new hopes, and that is exactly what my person did. Leonardo da Vinci, is one of those people.

Leonardo da Vinci, was born on April 15 of 1452, in Vinci, Italy. (That is how he got his last name "from Vinci", his last name literally means "from Vinci"). Also, when he was only 20 years old, he became a master artist. For his artistic ability, he got his own studio. He took his school work very seriously. He wanted to be the best that he could. He got these "brilliant" ideas, by studying human and animal bodies (World Book).

What I mean by "studying human perspective", is that he looked at them to get detail. To get the muscle lines so good, he had to look really and I mean really hard, and carefully. He took his studies very seriously and was very cautious. Da Vinci never painted unsatisfied art work.

Leonardo created two wonderful paintings, "The Last Supper" and the "Mona Lisa". "The Last Supper" is hung up in many religious places, because God is in the painting. The "Mona Lisa" copies are hung up in a lot of museums all around. The real painting of the "Mona Lisa", is in France ("Biography. True Story"). The copies, are hung up in many museums because of his human perspective. To get is paintings and inventions so good, he had to use a little help from another subject. That subject is science.

His science knowledge led him to come up with an impressive invention. This invention was a helicopter blue print. He didn't make his idea or invention with actual material, though. The people that did that was someone who came later in history. His innovations changed how people viewed art. He changed how people did or created art. For example, the "Mona Lisa", made people think about shape, texture, detail, etc. Without Leonardo da Vinci, the world would not know about perspective or detail from his paintings.
