It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

To me a hero is someone who is capable of succeeding in his or her dream or anything they want to do in their life. That is why I chose Laura Ingalls Wilder. She is inspiring. And she was capable of succeeding in whatever she wanted to do in her life like becoming a writer.

Laura Ingalls Wilder was born in 1876. She grew up in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Laura married Almonzo Wilder. Laura had two kids; one of them was named Rose. The other one had no name because sadly the baby died of small pox at the age of two weeks. She wrote about this sad event in one of her books, which is called, A Child With No Name.

Laura Ingalls Wilder should be a hero because she is inspiring. In the 1800’s most women did nothing but housework, farm, or take care of children. Very few women were brave enough to write a story. I think if people read Laura’s books they might feel the same way I do about her now, because having read her books, I know a lot a lot of girls like me can relate to her

Laura Ingalls Wilder is my hero because of her success. She succeeded in a lot of things people could not do in that time period. She is also a hero because she was very loving. She was also very graceful. When I write graceful I mean kind hearted, lovable, sweet and, we can’t forget my favorite, forgiving. Laura’s also my hero because her stories are so old and unique. When I first started reading her stories, I thought man this is old, I’m not going to like this but I guess you really can’t judge a book by its cover.
