My hero is LeBron James. His actual given birth name is LeBron Raymone James. He was born on December 30,1984 in Akron, Ohio. His parents' names are Gloria James and Anthony McCelland. LeBron had a very hard childhood because his mom was only 16 when he was born and his grandmother died. He and his mom went from one apartment to another. They lived in a really bad neighborhood. She tried to be a good mom. LeBron James' childhood heroes were Deion Sanders, Michael Jordan, and Anfernee Hardway because they inspired him to play basketball.

I think that LeBron James is kind, honest, loyal and brave because he helps people and he does the right things. One of the reasons I think this is because he donates a lot of money to charity. The LeBron James Family Foundation started in 2004. It "teaches children to be physically fit and focus in school". He also supports the Mesa Arts Academy which is a free charter school with the Boys+Girls clubs of America. It "integrates the arts into a rigorous academic curriculum". Obviously, LeBron James thinks that education is important. LeBron James has two kids and a wife.

LeBron James has the best job which is playing basketball. LeBron James is my hero because he inspires/encourages me to play basketball. I look up to LeBron as one of the greatest basketball players of all times. He is the best basketball player; that's what I think. Another reason is that he helps a lot of people throughout the world. That is the reason why I chose LeBron James. If I was ever to meet LeBron I would be the happiest kid!!!
