Mariana Altamirano Aceves

by Mariana from Tampico

Every action has a consequence.

My hero is… my mother. Mariana Altamirano Aceves. She was born at Tampico, Tamaulipas. My mother has been very educated since very young, she used to be active and funny but never disrespectful. Then, she met my father and got married with him. They went traveling on their honeymoon. In addition, when I was 3 years old we moved to San Diego, California, because of a better job offer for my dad. We lived our best unforgettable 5 years there. Everyday there that passed comes to my memory with a huge smile from my family. But, then we moved here because my parents missed my family. So, now we pass our days normal such as when I was little. Now, my mom works, my brother and I go to school and my dad is at Monterrey, Nuevoleon, working an engineer job.

When I see my mom, she makes me be happy. It's her magic. My grandparents influenced my mom to be a good example for me and my brother because my grandparents taught her very well and gave her all the love they could… as she is now giving to my brother and me. When my mom is next to me, I feel safe and loved and that makes me be happy. Additionally, her abilities: worker...Skills: respectful and caring...Qualities: a good and perfect mother, worker and funny… I love her jokes. My mother has become an important part of the society because she is admired by the neighbors that know her. Also, some of the colony. She is important because everybody in the neighborhood knows she works a lot and very well… for having a very good and important education school, food, house, etc.

That is also one thing I like about her the most because she shows me the effort she is making to create a good life for us, her children. This person for me is a huge hero because she does everything for me and that for me is everything. She loves me, she works for my health and I am very proud of her. She gives me food and a house with extra things. The remarkable personality about this person is that when you see her even in bad moments she is happy… she smiles, she jokes, she’s happy. There’s a good quote: she don’t have to drink to be funny and happy. She works very hard half of the day and she arrives to the house with great wonderful huge smile on her face saying she’s not giving up. When I started to think of who I should write of… I started to think of my friends, my family, my neighborhood… and I decided on my mother because memories came to my mind and started to remember how she has been very nice and good with me so, I thought I should write about her…

I deserve a great wonderful hero from who makes a good example. I think I have the funny, healthy, and great mind of my mom. Additionally, now at everything I do, I feel okay because I know my mom has educated me very fine. Love is an important tool my mother has given me. My mom and me… we are similar as: funny, joker, happy, smiley, good humor sense, educated, respectful, thankful, worker, because she is just like that and I also feel like that. I don’t lack anything because I know her very well, I live with her… but if there is something I lack that is what programs on TV she likes, what football soccer team she likes, or in the break time what does she likes the most: searching internet things, facebook, or windows live messenger chatting.

Her characteristics are:
- funny
- smiley
- happy
- worker
- respectful
- thankful
- she knows to give family love
- she’s a champion, she deserves that title.

Because: I see it from her, and I recognize she is the best mom I could ever have. Maybe she is not a celebrity but for the family, yes, she is. Everybody recognizes the huge work she has done to put this family forward and I don’t need more love from her because the amount of love she gives me is infinity… never ends, and that makes even more happiness. She’s not going to be forgotten by the ones who know about her like her: friends, family, and neighbors. She has given us things other mothers don’t always give to their children.
