Michael John Myers or Mike Myer was born on May 25, 1963 and raised in Scarborough, Canada. Myers is an actor, and comedian. He was in a lot of movies like; The Cat in the Hat, Austin Powers, Shrek, and Wayne's World. He was raised by his father( Eric Myers) and his mother (Alice). Mike has only two brothers, Peter and Paul Myers, and both of them Indie rock singers and songwriters. Even though Myers is Canadian, his parents were British and he holds three citizenship, American, British, and Canadian.

Michael began his acting career started when he was 10 years-old. One of his acting jobs was in a TV commercial. In 1982, Myers graduated from high school and was immediately accepted into the Second City Canadian Tour Company. Myers went out on his own for a short period in the mid-1980s, taking his comedy to London, but returned to Toronto after his father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. In 1993, Myers met Robin Ruzan, and he propose to Ruzan at that year.

In 1989, Myers auditioned for the popular comedy show Saturday Night Live and quickly won over the show's creator Lorne Michaels. While on Saturday Night Live, Myers had his first hit film, Wayne's World, in 1992. Myers left SNL after the 1994-95 season. For a few years, he worked on a new idea. Myers later created a new film called Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.The film earned more than $55 million over its opening weekend.Austin Powers returned to the big screen two more times, with 1999's Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and 2002's Austin Powers in Goldmember. Around this time, Myers also launched another successful film franchise, 2001's animated film Shrek. Mike played the lead role of the film, Shrek, as an ogre name Shrek. After the movie Shrek, He made another movie called, The Cat in Hat. He played as the magical trouble-making feline cat. Soon, he created Shrek 2 in 2004, Shrek the third in 2007, and Shrek forever after in 2010.

In 2006, cafe owner Kelly Tisdale confirmed reports that she and Myers were dating, and soon, Myers and Tisdale wed in New York in the fall of 2010. In 2011, she gave birth to their newborn son name Spike. Myers has played for Hollywood United F.C., a celebrity football team. Michael played in the 2010 Soccer Aid for UNICEF UK football match, England vs. R.O.W (Rest of the World) and scored his penalty during a sudden death shootout after the game ended 2-2 on June, 6 2010. The Rest of the World team beat England for the first time since the tournament started.

The reason I choose Mike Myers as my hero is because he is really talented and humorous. He inspired me to be a comedian. One day, I will be so funny, it will make the viewers laugh so hard until they will drop. Also, I think Austin Powers is really funny.
