Mother Teresa was born on August 27, 1910 in Skopje Macedonia as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. She was a Roman Catholic nun of Albanian descent and an Indian citizen. She founded the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India, in 1950 and helped the poor, sick, orphaned and dying for more than 45 years. The Missionaries of Charity helps those with HIV/AIDS, leprosy, tuberculosis and provides soup kitchens, children and family counseling programs, orphanages and schools.

I believe Mother Teresa is a person of faith because all the time she dedicated herself to strangers. Being inspired by Jesus, she gave all her time and life for this cause and worked thoroughly in her work. Many locals didn't want her there and tried to discourage her but she kept doing her work, which is very inspiring to me. Although there was much discouragement, she kept following her dreams and heart.

Mother Teresa teaches me this lesson and many others. I believe "Follow your dreams" is an important slogan and message she delivers. The concept will follow you throughout life and help you accomplish your goals, whether it be choosing what you want to be when you grow up or the topic you would like for a project. You chose your path of faith and it is your choice to do what you want with what you have.
