A Hero Like No Other.
Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910) was known by his pen name Mark Twain. "He was an American author and humorist. He is noted for his novels, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, called "the Great American Novel", and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer"(1). I have read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and I was inspired by his great ability to be an author. I looked him up read his quotes and was astonished by his philosophies.

Mark Twain's appearance was a formal well educated man. He also had a bushy mustache. In most pictures I have seen of him he was always wearing a nice suit. Mark had long wavy-like gray hair that would outline his main appearance.
"Samuel Langhorne Clemens was born in Florida, Missouri, on November 30, 1835, to a Tennessee country merchant"(1). Mark made a difference by his stories that he wrote and his philosophies that he also wrote. One book Twain wrote that was major in his career was The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which drew on his youth in Hannibal. Tom Sawyer was modeled on Twain as a child, with traces of two schoolmates"(1).
"Twain was a smart clever witty man. His stories and quotes have amazed thousands. That is why he is my hero because of what he said did and how he inspired so many people. Twain was a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists, and European royalty"(1). Which made him so much more important and it made him more famous to Americans.
