Michael Jordan

Do you know someone that is a hero to you? Who is it? My hero is Michael Jordan. I think heroes can be anything. When you think of a hero what do you refer to? Why are heroes important? Michael Jordan is my hero because he always makes people happy and is really good at basketball. A hero can be a dog or an animal. A hero doesn’t always have to be a person. They could save lives and much more.

First, Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963) is a retired professional basketball player and active businessman. He was born in Brooklyn New York. Michael Jordan was great at dunks. Jordan was nicknamed "Air" Jordan. He was on the Bulls starting in 1984. He was the best at his high-flying dunks. He loved to shoot the ball. He was good at shooting. He was in three championships with the Bulls. Jordan retired in the NBA and then came back in 2000. He was named the most valuable player, (MVP). When Jordan was first in the NBA he loved it, and then more and more fans started to like him. They were proud of his hard work that he showed them. He also created a new kind of sneaker. Jordan was very good at scoring and led his team a long way.

Next, Michael Jordan is confident. Whenever he stepped onto the basketball court, he was confident in himself. Michael Jordan loved to play basketball whenever he could. Everyone counted on him. Michael Jordan is an excellent player. Jordan was one of the best North American basketball players of all time. Jordan is a very hard working team player. He didn’t single anyone out. Everyone thinks he is a team player. Michael Jordan always believes in himself. He always scores points on the basketball court. Michael Jordan does awesome when he scores big points. He is now a retired player and people still remember him as he was. When people faced Michael Jordan they had to be prepared. Michael Jordan was a hard worker. Whenever he worked hard it all paid off. He had to work hard in practice and in the games. He had a lot of fans for him and when he was hard working, he was very good and confident in himself. He was very big in his basketball and he would play it wherever he went. As my basketball player I think Michael Jordan is one that I will remember. When you are confident, you score and think of yourself as being the only one on the court. Michael Jordan was always scoring in the games and he never let himself down. People have to be confident in their self. No one could guard Jordan when he was a guard. People honored Jordan as a great player. Michael Jordan is a phenomenal slam dunker. He always dunked the ball when he had a chance.

In Michael Jordan’s early career he was in his first season as an NBA player. Jordan was a great shooter and Jordan’s second season as an NBA player didn’t go too well. He had a broken foot which caused him to miss 64 games. When Jordan broke his foot his team, the Bulls made the playoffs. Later on he could play in the playoffs. Later when they played the Celtics in the playoffs they lost and the Celtics made it to NBA history. Michael Jordan was loved by many fans because of his great ability to play basketball. Michael Jordan’s record is still unbroken with 63 points in one playoff game. The Celtics won the series. Michael Jordan is one of the only players to score 3,000 points in one season. Jordan had 200 steals and 100 blocks on the season. Later on, after they had gone to the playoffs again, they were swept by the Celtics for a second time. In Jordan’s early career he got a scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael Jordan won the NCAA championship with North Carolina.

As you can see, my hero, Michael Jordan was an excellent player. He was confident, brave, and hard working. He was confident whenever he stepped onto the basketball court. He showed his bravery when he scored big points. He always wanted to score. He was even brave when he had to go on the court with a stadium full of fans. Lastly, he was hard working when he was fighting for the ball. He would always hustle down the court whenever he could. He showed that he was hard working. Do you have a hero?
