Michelle Wie is a female professional golf player. Michelle is known for her long driver shots. Michelle was born on October 11, 1989 in Honolulu Hawaii. Michelle started playing golf when she was just four years old.

When Michelle was 10 she shot a 64. Michelle practices four hours every day of the week and seven hours on weekends. Michelle’s actions can affect others because she is a good role model for kids. This brought Michelle so many fans. People look up to her because she is dedicated and works hard. Young golfers want to play exactly like her. Michelle injured her wrist in 2006 and was not able to play golf for a year. When Michelle came back she struggled throughout 2007. Even though she struggled she continued to practice.

Michelle’s events in her golf life affect me because I also play golf. She has inspired me to practice more so I can be just as good as her. Michelle has been able to play against men and did very well! Maybe I will become that good to play against men.

Michelle Wie is not only my hero because she is good at golf, she is my hero because she is hard working and never gave up. She has to be brave and courageous to play with men that are much older than her. Her courage, bravery and hard work has made her become the person she is today.
