On the 9th of March, 1983, a little person arrived at this world. She who would soon enter our hearts to stay there. Ever since she was a child, she was born with the love for acting, she always participated in dancing contests, oratory, poetry, and in theatre workshops.

Maite is characterized for being friendly, imaginative, sensible, and besides being compassionate, she is always thinking about everyone else. As a curious fact, we can mention that as every other person, Maite also has a rebelliousness to talk about. Who would guess that at barely 11 years old, this girl would take advantage of her parent's absence to take the family car and take her brother for a ride by the plaza near her house. Of course, she would have never thought that her dad was going to catch her with her hands on the wheel.

Besides other things, when she was finishing high school she decided to attend a casting to enter Televisa's Artistic Educational Center [CEA], managing to enter in 2000, studying for two years, at first Maite had the firm idea to be a TV host, without knowing that acting would become her passion; now we can mention some of the plays she has participated like: "Usted Tiene Ojos de Mujer Fatal" (You Have Eyes of a Fatal Woman), and she did the role of Elena, "Las Cosas Simples" (The Simple Things) doing the role of Matilde, "Los Enamorados" (The Lovers) with the role of Eugenia. We can also mention her participation in some TV ads like the ad for "Pelon Pelo Rico" candy in 1991, for 1994 she did an ad for Pintura Acuario. She participated in a music video when she was a girl. She also participated in some plays in an independent way since 1998 until 2002 like: "Ciclo Teatro Experimental" (Experimental Circle Theater), "Cyrano de Bergerac," "Cats Puesta en Escena Escolar" (Cats). If Maite loves something, that is dancing, this is why, for two straight years, we could see her in the "Intercolegial de Baile" (one year as a participant and the second as part of the event opening each presentation), after having participated in this project, Maite followed this pattern and she decided to do it for musical shows on TV. She had the opportunity to participate in Disney Channel's choreography group, where she recorded some shows that were transmitted on this channel by cable.

Now we can see Maite in the role that sent her out to each and every one of your homes, "Lupita," a role that caused a 180 degree turn for the actress, because she did not expect the wonderful approval from the public, Maite comments that Lupita has made her grow up for the fact that it has been her first experience in soap operas (telenovelas).

Just as Rebelde has been an enormous opportunity for Maite, the music band RBD has also been one, this one has caused great furor in teens, children, and even adults, this being also an experience never lived by her. These two great experiences give Maite the opportunity to see great successes later in the future, and all the way from our hearts we wish this so special girl, that her life is full of blessings and in equal forms we want to THANK her for always being there for us.
