Marta Victor

She's been there since my birth and helped me become the person I am today. Marta Victor is my mother, mom, and even considered my best friend. She is the only person that I have always trusted the most. She raised my sister and I when she separated from my father. As time has passed by I have learned and grown up into her footsteps. She always gives me advice to not make the same mistakes as her, but I always tell her to not worry about me because she raised me well and I have learned a lot from other people and my own experiences. My mom means the world to me and I don't know what person I would be without her.

Throughout my life I have trusted my mom the most because she is a honest person to me. I have tried trusting other people, but they have taken advantage or betrayed me. People say to trust nobody because you never know who might turn their back on you. Personally, I do believe it is true, but then again she is the only person I could trust. My mom always reminds me that I should be able to trust her because she is the only one that cares the most. In times of need, she will be the only one who will help me out with advice or anything I need. I have considered her my best friend because in the past I chose my so-called best friends over her and ended up betrayed, when she was still there for me when I needed advice.

My mom has worked hard to get where she is today. She has her business and has controlled and been able to handle it on her own. I help her in her store everyday after school. When I was young, around the age or three, she separated from my father and moved from Los Angeles to Fresno. She was able to raise my sister and me by herself, work, and find time for herself. She was fifteen when she was pregnant from my sister and seventeen when she was pregnant from me. She has had big responsibilities since she was young, so she matured at a young age. My friends today say, "Wow, your mom is so young, I bet she lets you do what you want and is really cool?" I just reply with a simple, "No!"
