Kimberly Mason

For my hero I chose Kimberly Mason. Kimberly lives in Sydney N.S.W. She was born on the 19th of September, 1989. She lives with her mum and sister. She has two pets, a cat and a dog. Kimberly hopes to represent Australia at the Olympic Games.

Many consider a hero a person who has super powers and wears their undies outside of their pants but Kimberly is my hero because of her determination and co-ordination. She inspires me and many young girls all over Australia to do better and try harder. Kimberly trains every day day of the week with her coach Nicole Higham.

Kimberly's favourite apparatus is ball. Her best sporting moment was at the 2005 Australian Championships and her best performance was at the Commonwealth Games with her favourite apparatus, ball. In the National Championships she came first in everything except for ball which she had not attended. Kimberly may not be able to lift 10 houses and throw them into the sun but she is pretty strong and she is a beautiful gymnast and that's why she is my hero.

In this picture Kimberly is performing her favourite apparatus, ball. One day I hope to be able to be just as good as her. In this picture I see a girl who is determined and flexible. Kimberly is a great gymnast and for the routine she is doing in the picture, she won 1st at the Commonwealth Games.
