Megan Denise Fox

Do you know of anyone who has started his or her career in middle school? At age thirteen Megan Fox started acting to get over her fear of being on stage. Megan also had a low self-esteem. She started modeling to feel better about herself and build up her confidence. I think a hero is someone who has perseverance, strength and is willing to please and entertain people.

Megan Fox was born May 16, 1986, at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her full name is Megan Denise Fox. She is of Irish, French, and Native American descent. Her mother is Darleen Tonachio and her father Franklin Foxx. Her father dropped one of the “x” from his last name. Megan has one older sister. She was strong going through her parents’ divorce. Her parents divorced when Megan was real young. Her mother and step dad raised her and her sister. The two were strict, so strict she could not have a boyfriend. At age five she began dance and drama. She was in chorus and joined the swim team at Kingston, Tennessee.

At age ten she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. She was tested out of school at age seventeen. During her school years, she stayed out of trouble and tried her best no matter how much she disliked school. She never gave up her acting and modeling. She kept up with her training.

Have you seen any movies starring Megan Fox? At age sixteen she starred in the 2001 film Holiday in the Sun as spoiled heiress, Brianna Wallace, rival of Alex Stewart. In 2004, she made a film Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, playing the supporting role of Carla Santi, a rival of Lola (Lindsay Lohan). In 2007, Fox won the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in the 2007 live action film Transformers. My favorite movie of Megan’s was Jennifer’s Body where she played the lead role of Jennifer.

Megan Fox is my hero because she has the lead role in my favorite movie, Jennifer's Body. She was strong through very heart-breaking times and she is willing to please and entertain people. Most of all, she perseveres when things get difficult. I think it is amazing to have lived her life without her real father and still have a career as good as this.
