Meet my mum. Her name is Svetlana Gennadievna. She works as a teacher of English at school â„–1. Mum spends a lot of time at work. English is her calling. Mum is rather clever, she reads & knows a lot. She is fond of reading. I think reading is her passion. Besides she is interested in art. She never misses a chance to visit an exhibition hall or a picture gallery. In appearance she is an attractive woman with chestnut hair & dark brown eyes. She is on a slimming diet, she never eats junk food & she walks a lot. Though Mum does not play any musical instrument, she adores jazz & classical music. My Mom is demanding to herself and to others. She loves order and cleanliness, taking care about herself and cleaning the house. When I come home from training, my mother always helps me to prepare homework if I have no time. My mother is a very hard worker; she always completes all her plans. I love her not for the fact that she prepares delicious food and helps me with my homework, and just like that, simply because I have her. I would really like to see my mother never sad, always been cheerful and fun. I try to please my mother every day with my studies or cleaning the house and things like that.

She is fond of reading books. We have a good library at home. There are many books of Russian and foreign writers in it. Her favorite Russian writer is Ivan Turgenev and her favorite English writer is William Shakespeare. Besides reading, my mother is keen on music, especially classical one. She likes to listen to music when she is very tired after a hard day at school. She is also very busy and has a lot of work to do about the house. Mother does shopping and cooking for all the family. But all the members of our family help her about the house. I like my mother very much.
Written by Mark AizenmanMy mother is the most important person in my life. I cannot really express how I feel about her in just a few words. My mother is not my whole life, but she is a really a big part of it. I know her very well, and I had learned to love her since the day we first met. Relatives always tell me stories about my birth. They tell me how important I was to my mom. She has taught me all I need to know to live my own life. She also showed me how to give and take. I learned from her that giving is a lot harder than taking, but the former is much more satisfying when it is done. She told me that giving makes one happy. I am sure she is right because half of her life, she has been giving me what I need. I love my mammy as much as I can!!!
