My Beloved Mother

I want to tell you about my beloved mother. Her name is Maria Magdalena Wardhani Satyadharma. She usually called by her friends with Maria or Dhani but my family and I, especially my little sister and I call her 'mommy-chan or momo'. She was born at Jakarta, February 15th. Her father's name is Frans and her mother's name is Swaniri. She is the second child from six children in her family. Where she is the only daughter in her family. So, my mother became the most loved, but she isn't spoiled.

I want to continue with the hero story about my mother. Since my mother didn’t work at an office and became a housewife exactly in 2004, my mother showed me her hero personality. In the morning, she wakes up earlier than the others and prepares the meals for me and my little sister. In the afternoon, she picks us up at school and we come home together. In the evening, she picks us up to the course near my house. For course, it happens twice a week.

But, right now, when I have school at Santa Ursula, Jakarta, my mother has to work harder. She must wake up earlier because I go to school at 5.30 a.m. She prepares my meal and sometimes my breakfast. In the afternoon, she picks me up at school exactly at 1.30 p.m and accompanies me to the class, I mean ballet class. And now, the class is four times a week. The course is from 4 to 7 p.m. on average. Could you imagine how tired is she??? And after the course, she patiently listens my babble about school, course, etc. Sometimes, we do not arrive at home until 8.30 p.m. And she looks very tired.

Now, what has she done for me and my family, to inspire me to become a person who always behaves patiently and unselfishly? First, I try to do with that behavior in my family, then to my school and ballet course environment, and so on. In fact, it’s not success 100% but it changes me a little by little. Thanks to my mom, who always inspires me to change my bad behavior…You’re my hero. God bless you, mom. I love you!!! And happy 41th birthday….
