Natalie Caviness

Natalie Caviness is one of the most ambitious and determined individuals I have ever met. I have had the pleasure of becoming friends with her through my time here at my High School. Natalie is fifteen years old and a member of the first inaugural class here at RECHS.

She has inspired me time after time as well as others by encouraging me and trying to push me to not just do what is needed in order to get by and pass, but to take the extra step and work harder on my academic abilities and achieve my goals. For instance every morning when I come in to school she sits down with me if she isn’t busy and helps me with any work that I either didn’t finish or didn’t understand exactly.

I consider her to be my hero because she is someone I look up to when I need help. Not only that, but she has also taught me to work harder on my ambitions and determination towards school. She has made an enormous difference in me by encouraging and keeping me determined to achieve my goals in life.
