My definition of a hero is someone who has made a difference in the world or someone who has saved a person’s life. Heroes show great courage and are fearless. They make changes in our world and aren’t afraid to proclaim what they believe in. A hero is a leader, not a follower.

I choose Omari Ishmael Grandberry, also known as Omarion, as my hero. He is a famous singer and actor. He was a member of the group B2K. He was born in Inglewood, California on November 12, 1984. He grew up in a rough neighborhood and was surrounded by crime. He has become a successful celebrity, despite where he came from. He has donated to over 5 charities in the past year. He supports the Student Global AIDS Campaign and also works with young children who grew up with fewer opportunities than he had.

I chose Omarion as my hero because I admire the way he works with young kids just like us. I also admire that at such a young age he is making a difference. He has donated to many charities, and is the youngest black male celebrity to do so.

I admire Omarion because he has the ability to do what he loves and also make a difference in our world. He has helped inner-city kids in his neighborhood and donated books and other supplies to their schools. He has visited disabled kids from all around the world. He inspired them to “follow their dreams, despite their disabilities.”

Omarion has made a difference in our world. He has inspired the youth today to follow their dreams. He is my hero because he was able to make a change in the world today. He inspires children from bad neighborhoods that you can make a difference no matter where you came from.
