My Parents To me my parents are my heroes. They have always been there for me, my other siblings and friends. Both of my parents work hard allowing me to accomplish not only my goals, but their goals for me also. They're always there and I know always will be. My parents have led me in the right path by raising me in church, teaching me manners, and how to respect things, people and myself. They have taught me right from wrong and how to handle things that get out of hand. They have taught me to be myself, stand for what I believe in and to care for others, to forgive and forget.

My parents both work many jobs. My dad is a preacher and not only cares for me but looks after the church congregation. He will sometimes get calls in the middle of the night asking him to come because an accident has occurred or someone has passed away; he doesn't even hesitate to go. My dad is also a carpenter/electrician, when he is not studying or preaching, as a side job. My mom is a stay at home mom and with six kids she has her hands full. She always makes sure there is food on the table and that we have clean clothes. As a side job my mom does hair for family, friends, and church people.

Lastly my parents have taught me to believe in God. They know if we're struggling that with faith we will get through whatever comes our way. My parents may get on my nerves sometimes, but I know they do everything for a reason. Through the love, the tears, and the laughter, my parents are my heroes.
