Park Bom

Park Bom was born on March 24 1984. She's a South Korean singer, and a part of a South Korean group band named: "2NE1". The two numbers of 2NE1,means the 21st century, and the "NE" stands for "New Evolution". Park Bom is born in Seoul, South Korea. 2NE1, has recorded songs with "Big Bang". Park Bom debuted with 2NE1 as the main vocalist and since she started to be the main vocalist of 2NE1, her stage name eventually became into "Bom". Park Bom's 1st solo single was "YOU & I". 2NE1 is the world's best band group chosen by "MTV Iggy" on November 10th 2011. Park Bom's idol was Mariah Carey, and Mariah's the one who has inspired Park Bom to become a singer. Beyoncé was also another one of her idol's because Park Bom wants to have a strong vocal and a strong performance like how Beyoncé has a strong vocal. On November 29, 2011, has won the best vocal performance for their song "Lonely" and "I Am The Best" as the 2nd best song of the year. 2NE1 has their own reality show, the name of their show is 2NE1 TV. So far they've had about 3-4 seasons of 2NE1 TV.

In Grade 6, Park Bom moved to the United States, and adored Mariah Carey's Songs, which made Park Bom want to be a singer when she grows older. But her parents had not allowed her, but Park Bom's Aunt had encouraged Park Bom to always follow her dreams. So, Park Bom had transferred to "Berklee College of Music". But, eventually when Park Bom has decided to be a singer and was officially a singer, her aunt eventually died. From 2005-2008, Park Bom has been auditioning to be a singer for YG entertainment, but has been rejected. But then, 3 years after she has been accepted, and started to be a trainee, and started learning Japanese and Mandarin.

YG Entertainment has had announced that the new group of four members will sometime will be debuted somewhere around May 2009. The group that they announced, was 2NE1. They've been training for four years. They debuted in SBS The Music Trend, on May 17, 2009, and performed their song "Fire", produced by Teddy Park. Park Bom is a pop and R&B singer. 2NE1 has met Will.I.Am and Jeremy Scott. Jeremy Scott is an American fashion designer who has taken pictures with Park Bom and the rest of 2NE1. The Song "Go Away" is the number one song in South Korea. Go Away was released in 2010. "Fire" is their debuted song.

2NE1 is known for their unique and edgy style. In 2NE1's Music video "It Hurts(Slow)", they have these weird looking wigs and hair style. 2NE1 was called the "hip-hop warriors" and the female counterpart of Big Bang, a famous male group in South Korea. The youngest member, Minzy, her role model is Michael Jackson. CL, the leader of 2NE1, her role models are Madonna, and Lauryn Hills. Dara's role model, is Jennifer Lopez. Park Bom's role models are Beyonce and Mariah Carey.

Park Bom's solo singles were :  "Anystar" which was released in the year 2006, then in the year of 2009, her single "You & I", came out then 2011, "Don't Cry" came out. The songs that she was featured in were, "We Belong Together, Forever with you, Oh Yeah, and I cheated". Those 4 songs were By G-Dragon, the leader of a very  popular boy group in South Korea (Big Bang), and featuring Park Bom, and T.O.P, the rapper of Big Bang. Park Bom was in the Film "Girlfriends" in 2009. Then 2NE1 has their own reality show.

Park Bom - You & I was Nominated on November 2009 for Cyworld Song of the Month and has Won. Then in 2010, You & I was again nominated for Mnet Asian Music Awards "Best Digital Single" and has won too.
