Paloma Herrera was a famous ballerina at the American Ballet Theater. She was very famous because she had danced many famous parts. Some famous parts she played were in Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Snow Maiden and many more.

Paloma Herrera was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the year of 1975. Since she was seven she wanted to become a prima ballerina. She took classes when she was seven with Olga Ferri at a place called the Colon Theatre, which was the best in the country. After her first class, she knew that is what she wanted to do when she grew up. Since she had wanted to be a ballerina, she had competed when she was eleven and she had won first prize in the competion in the South America. When she was eleven, she studied at the Minsk Ballet School in Russia. She was a finalist when she competed in the Fourteenth International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria in 1990.

Paloma Herrera's family is very important to her as a ballerina. Her mom, father, and her older sister give full support to Paloma's ballet career. She got to where she is through hard work and dedication. Many people think that ballerinas struggle and at the end they don't want to become a ballerina, but to Paloma Herrera that is not true becuse at the end it all pays off.

Even though she was a famous ballerina, she was very inspirational to me because the way she loves to perform as a ballerina and how her family and friends mean a lot to her. The reason she is an inspiration to me is because my family,and my friends are very important to me as they are to her. Even if Paloma Herrera is not an inspiration to you, she is to many people.
