I want to tell you about one of the world famous people from Belarus. It's Pyotr Klimuk, a Belarusian cosmonaut. 

He was born in 1942 and was the first one in Belarus to perform a space travel. Klimuk made three flights into space. His first one was a long test flight on Soyuz 13 in 1973. The next one was made by him in 1975. In 1976 he was involved in the Intercosmos and made his final spaceflight together with Polish cosmonaut M. Hermaszewsky on Soyuz 30.

Pyotr Klimuk was awarded with a lot of medals and orders.

I think that such people are real heroes of their country because they endanger their lives in order to help people find something new, conduct different researches and try to find unknown civilizations.
