My hero is Patrick Roy, he was an National Hockey League goalie. Patrick Roy was an National Hockey League all-star. He was a born Canadian from Quebec City. Roy has won the Stanley Cup multiple times. Patrick Roy's career lasted more than a decade in the National Hockey League.

Patrick Roy was a eleven time NHL (National Hockey League) all-star. He went to the all-star game six times as a Montreal Canadien and five times playing for the Colorado Avalanche. The most votes for Patrick Roy to go to the all-star game was in Vancouver 1998, and he had 395,656. That had gotten him the starting position for the North America Team. Although Patrick had gotten the start he did not get the win but he did not lose as both goalies in the first allowed three goals.

Patrick Edward Armand Roy was a born Canadian in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on October 5, 1965. Patrick Roy's nickname was "Saint Roy" and he was so good that his glove even had a nickname. Patrick had won four Stanley cups in his career. He had won two with the Montreal Canadians and two with the Colorado Avalanche. Also out of those four Stanley cups he won the the Conn Smythe trophy three times.  

Patrick Roy is my hero because he was the all-star goalie in the National Hockey League as I grew up. He was one of the most fiesty people in the NHL and I have an attitude like him. He has the sense that he is good and he is very confident in himself. He has a very good sense of humor and he also is serious person. He was cocky but he could also back it up with his performance. He has made a difference in my life because he has shaped my attitude because I always wanted to be exactly like him. I wanted to have a strong personality and always give everything I do that extra one hundred and ten percent.

Patrick Roy was the best goaltender in the NHL in his career and I believe in his prime could be still. He was a great goalie who made the all-star game eleven times. He was a Stanley Cup winner and he is my hero because of his strong attitude.
