Christopher Paolini is my HERO because he helps me think differently, and helps me understand why people write fantasy novels. He has written two best-sellers. These books are called Eragon and Eldest.

Christoper Paolini was born on November 17, 1983 in Southern California. He now lives In Paradise Valley, Montana by the tall, jagged Beartooth Mountains. These mountains have given Christopher Paolini the idea of "The Spine" in Eragon.

Christopher is now 23 and has written two best-sellers. At 15 he started Eragon and finished at 19. Christopher has inspired me to write more than I usually do. "I certainly give credit to my parents," says Christopher.

Eragon is about a boy named Eragon, who finds a polished blue stone which turns out to be a dragon egg. When the stone/egg hatches to show a dragon, Eragon is suprised and thinks about killing it. Eldest is the sequel to Eragon, which starts in the Dwarfish city of Tronjheim where Eragon leaves to travel to the elves to continue his dragon rider training.
