Peer Pressure Produced by Will Hammond & Ariel Dovas, Instructors
"You try to be somebody you’re not, it’s just not gonna work out." - Student at Bay Cat
This film is a collaborative effort from the students from Bay Cat. In addition to hearing from the students themselves about gangs, peer pressure and drugs, we also hear from a school counselor who's been through the pressures of gang violence himself. Produced and Edited by the Students of MYTV Class 2005-06 of Bay Cat.
There’s a lot of journeys I’ve been through to get to where I am now. -Larrell Dean: From Gang Violence to Gang Prevention
Gangs, there’s no meaning to it. There’s no moral to the story.
I try to stay away from my friends when they’re doing stupid stuff.
I try to learn from what I see instead of joining it. Because if I join it, it’s just going to be all bad.
