They Saved My Life When times were tough, I was not the brightest. My name started trouble. I was in fights a lot and I was also the only white kid in school. There was one that helped me. One that had gotten me out of the ten foot deep hole I dug in to hide myself. I was hiding from the world; I was in a bad state of depression.

After a very bad day of school, I hopped on my crappy seventy five dollar tablet, it was so laggy, and looked for prank videos to fix my mood. The screen was cracked but I knew if I complained about it, my dad would take it and smash it like he had done with my brother's xbox. My father had just came back from Iraq and had severe PTSD. I was surfing the web and I came across Roman Atwood. He posted some funny pranks some of which was in the hood; some had to be with cops they were funny. I loved there videos I laughed more than I ever had.

Then he decided his fans wanted him to do day in the life videos. So he did and it launched off on his channel. And now that channel has six million subscribers. He also owns a business it's called, Smile More. It's based off of what he wants everyone to do, at the end of every video he says it at least once, "Smile more."

If there was one chance to go back to my old life I would never take it. Not even in a million years. Now I realize what the greatness of expressing myself to others feels like. I don't have many friends, but the friends I do have are good friends. And I thank Roman for pulling me out of my depression. He has pulled many out of their shells, and shows that life isn't so bad, you just have to learn how to steer it in the right direction.
