My definition of HERO in my own words is someone who you look up to and helps others. They should also be important to you. A hero doesn't have to be someone who saves lives or sacrifice their life for someone else's they could help make your day better.

I think it is important to have a hero because they can help you reach your goal and they can help you feel better when your sad. You can have a hero to help motivate you in all aspect of your life. They will inspire you and help you make good choices.

My Personal Hero is Ryan Bradley. He fits my definition because he is someone who i look up to and he helps me try to reach my goals and is always there for me. Ryan makes good choices and is very kind to others. He helps set a good example on to never give up on your dreams and try your hardest to get them.

My hero should be in the Hero Hall of Fame because he is very supportive and helpful. He has helped me learn to never give up on my dreams. Everyone who looks up to him has learned that its okay to be different he taught people that if you want something bad enough and you keep trying you can reach your goals even if you fail the first time and to change it up every so often. He had many people tell him he could not get gold in the olympics his first time going or even make it to the olympics but he tried his hardest and didnt give up or let people get to him, and he was able to do both. He has inspired many people.

My interview with Ryan.

What is your definition of a hero?

"My definition of a hero is someone who does a selfless act, who puts others before themself."

Who is your hero and why?

"My mom because she has been there for me even now and ever since i was little, she cheers me on even when i feel like i should give up."

What were your goals you have made?

"I made it to the Olympics and got a gold medal and i have made it to Nationals multiple times"

What would you tell others who want to reach their goal?

"That it is hard but to keep in mind hard work always pays off in the end, and to never give up."

Was it hard to get to where you are now?

"Yes but that means you know you can make it to where you want to be, i think if something is hard then it means you can do it and if something is easy then you might not get to your goals cause you will think you can do it with no problem and then you will mess up."

What is something you are proud of?

"I am proud to have many fans and I'm proud to be there for all of them and be someone they look up to."

What advice would you give me for the future?

"Just to never give up no matter how hard it is, we learn from failure and as long as you believe in yourself you can make anything happen."

If you could ask your hero one thing what would it be?

"It would be how long has it taken you to reach your goals and why have you helped me all these years even when I was a stubborn kid?"

Did your hero help you get to where you are now and continue with what you love even when you felt like you couldn't?

"Yes, my mom was always there and backed me up even when i felt like i couldn't make it to 2004-2005 Nationals after i broke my arm playing dodgeball with friends and later tearing my meniscus in my right knee.

How did you get involved with ice skating?

"Both my parents were skaters and my sister was too but she quit and they got me to do it. When i first started i didn't like it but then i did and now i'm here making it to Nationals and I'm glad i had them."
