R.A Kartini

R.A Kartini is a beautiful woman who was born in Jepara, 21th August 1897. She is the mother of woman revolution. She had sacrificed for the women revolution and she had contributed a lot of things for women revolution.

R.A Kartini is my inspiration because of her hardwork to reach the woman revolution, her spirit, her smartness, and all of her smart thoughts. R.A Kartini never gave up to all of conditions. Although in that time the education was not allowed for women, Kartini still tried to get the education from many ways. Such as exchanging books with her pen pals from many countries. The women in that time were only allowed to become a housewife and they were not to get higher education. R.A Kartini wasn’t permitted to go outside before her marriage. That was the culture in Central Java especially in her site at that time. Although at that time the women could not allow them to get higher study, she didn’t give up - even her father the Jepara Mayor of the Jepara did not support her. She studied all the time and she wrote the book which title is “Habis Gelap terbitlah Terang”. Because of her spirit and hardwork, she’d succeeded to build a school for the woman. Since that time, the women could study freely with no pressure. From her experience, I’ve learned that if we have spirit to get something, we can do that no matter what the problems are.
