Robert has been a great actor throughout  his whole life, but it wasn't until a movie name "Bang the Drum Slowly that he caught Hollywood's attention. By making that film he won New York Films Critic award for best actor. He caught a famous Hollywood director attention, Martin Scorsese, that's how Robert began his professional career.

Robert is a phenomenal actor with such amazing talent. He's won many awards but his most important were the 2 Academies, he's one of the greatest actors of his generation. Not only is he talented, he's inspiring too - not only acting but also outside the stage. "Actors must expose themselves to the surroundings and keep their minds obsessed with that," he said. "I always look at everything.. If you don't practice, you don't know your subject and it can't be natural . You've got to physically and mentally become that person you are portraying." Encouraging in pursuing your dream.He explains that practice lead to success and people don't do that they won't be as successful as other people. He didn't really become famous until a particular movie. By achieving that it took practice like he did. He has inspired many people to act by the way he acts and the things he says. He doesn't only act to act but he does it for the people.

Robert is considered a hero because he's inspiring, talented, and responsible. He shows how much effort and practice he puts into his work to only get better and better. He's considered one of the greatest actors of his generation. He's been in some of the greatest movies with the greatest directors. That's why he's my hero.
