Rosa Parks

My hero is Rosa Parks because she was the first black women to stop segregation. She did not get out of her seat for a white man when the white bus driver told her to. Rosa Parks had got arrested. She had to take finger prints. She had joined the Memorial Walk. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had helped her to stop making black people sit in the back of the bus. After that's when segregation had stopped.

Until this day 2008 if Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. haven't started the boycott it might still be happening today. That's why black women should not refuse to be afraid to stand up for their rights plus black men. Also no one can tell her where to sit on the city bus anymore. So i want to give thanks to Rosa Parks, my Civil Right Leader.
