Raven Symone

Raven Symone is a wonderful person. She is my hero because she is a great role model, she is giving, brave, caring, affectionate, and she is an achiever. Raven is a singer and an actress. She has done most of her work on Disney Channel. You would probably know her from her hit Disney Channel series, "That's So Raven." You also may know her as Olivia from,"The Cosby Show." She has three albums and many cassettes. Raven loves to cook, shop, sing, and dance. She loves her job. She has been doing it ever since she was two years old. Raven was born on December 10, 1985, which makes her 22 years old. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She lived there for a while then moved to Los Angeles, where she has lived most her life, so far.

Raven Symone is my hero for many reasons. The most important reason is that Raven works for five charities. One of the charities is "Make a Wish Foundation." This is important to me because children would love their dreams to come true, like me. Raven is helping children with that. To me, that is called a hero. Another reason why she is my hero is because she isn't one of those girls that tries to give bad image ideas to other girls. What I mean by that is she doesn't tell people that you have to be a certain size to be beautiful. Raven herself isn't exactly a size two, but she is beautiful, inside and out.

Another reason why Raven is my hero is because she helps people in the hospital, young and old. She goes to hospitals and helps people feel more confident. This is important to me because I have been in the hospital before, (not for a major reason, just to get my tonsils removed.) Just because it was a minor reason, doesn't mean I wasn't scared. I was only seven years old. This makes me feel elysian because other people are getting reassurance from Raven which helps them know that everything is going to be fine.

Raven has inspired me to do a lot of things and think about the good qualities I have, not the bad ones I may have. She has made me realize that there is more than just you in this world to think about. I have also learned that you are beautiful inside and out, no matter what people say about your looks. Raven has been a big inspiration in my life.

Knowing about Raven has been a great event in my life. She is my hero for many reasons, and hopefully one of the inspirations in your life, teaching mainly about self-confidence and helping those who own less than you, that includes self-esteem.
