Rebecca Templeton

My hero is my mom. Her name is Beckie Templeton and she was born in Holyoke, Massachesetts. She currently lives in Savannah, Georgia. I have known her forever. She is really nice, caring and really fun.

My mom is my hero because she does many fun things with me. One example is she is taking me and my two brothers and my baby cousin on a road trip to Pensylvania by herself but my grandmother and my cousins mom might come too. Another thing she does is she takes me shopping and we look around the stores together. Then after we go shopping we go to Bonefish Grill. Another example is my mom can do anything. She can do everything because she is brave, intelligent, honest to everyone and confident. She is also my hero because when I play any sport she is always there watching. These are many reasons she is my hero.

My mom is like some of the Greek heroes but not like them in other ways. She is a lot like Heracles because she can do many tasks. She is wise like Athena and Odysseus but my mom does not like to fight or to be in a war. She is not selfish and like some of the Greek heroes. My mom will always be a hero to me.
