Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite Kaka

by Muhamad Reza Alfiandri from SMAN 3 Bandung, Indonesia

Sport makes our lives richer...

Why is my idol Kaka? Sometimes I feel envious of Kaka. Compared to him, I am very far behind, I don’t have anything. Kaka has everything. He is handsome, rich, and famous, everything that all people, especially boys dream of being. Kaka also has a beautiful and a faithful wife. The more I compare myself to Kaka, the more envy I feel.

And then I am thinking, why feel so enivous? Why not try to imitate him? So now Kaka inspires me, especially when I am playing football.

At his young age, 24 years old, Kaka, whose full name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, plays an important role on his team. In his country, Brazil, Kaka is a hero.

He is very good at dribbling and shooting the ball. If he shoots the ball, most times, he'll score. This is not easy to do while competing against a lot of football stars. But in fact, Kaka can do it very easily. That's why Kaka is my idol.

To describe his magic on the field, his boss at AC Milan, Silvio Berlusconi, says it all, “I don’t know who the best player in Milan is so far. But I've never seen a young player as good as Kaka.” This comment can prove that Kaka in the football field is. He is a very good, amazing and fantastic person.

There is another thing that makes me admire him. Kaka gets all of it with hard work. He doesn’t do it like other star players. His skills are not a gift from god. He needs to work hard to be this good.

His hard work makes him a strong person. Kaka isn’t scared by the challenge because he knows God always helps him. Those things that make his ways are straight. His status as a star player hasn't made him an arrogant person. Kaka wants to share with others. Kaka wants to be a normal person just like everyone else.

Ah, this player is very special. Now I'm feeling even more envious!
