Rafael Nadal Parera was born in Manacor, Majorca on June 3 of 1986. His nicknames are Rafa, Gladiator, and the King of Clay. He is from Spain. He is ranked number one in the entire world in tennis. He turned Pro in 2003. He is active and plays left-handed with a two-handed backhand. He plays single and in doubles.

In singles his career record is 337 & 78 and also in singles his career titles are 31. In doubles his career record is 73 & 45 and also in doubles his career titles are 5. He has played in the Australian Open (2008), French Open (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), Wimbledon (2008), and US Open (2008), Tour finals (2006, 2007) and my favorite, the Olympic games (2008). He has an Olympic medal. In the 2008 Beijing games, he brought the gold to Spain.

He is my hero because I love to play tennis, and when I see him playing I am like, "Wow... he does it very well!"

I would love to play like he does; he is very intelligent, determined and achieves all of his goals.

I would like to as determined as he is. That is why I put him as my hero; beacause of all that and he is handsome too!;)
