My hero is the Portuguese football player with the full name Ricardo Andrade Quaresma Bernardo or Ricardo Quaresma for short. His nickname is »Cigano«, which means a gypsy, because of his gypsy ancestry. He is also known as Mustang.

Ricardo Quaresma has played for many clubs in his career. His first football steps were made in the Portuguese club Sporting. He played there until 2003, when he was sold to the Spanish football giant, FC Barcelona. Season 2003/2004 was very unsuccessful for him. What is more, he injured his right foot very badly. Unfortunately, the injury was so bad that he had to skip the Under-21 European Championship in 2004. After this unsuccessful season he signed for the Portuguese FC Porto in the summer of 2004. He stayed there for 4 years, which were very successful. He was one of the most important players in Porto's line up. Currently, he is playing for the Italian title holder, Inter.

My hero lives in Italy, where he also plays. Before that, he lived in Porto, where he had a huge villa with a large pool outside. He drives an Audi R8.
