Patrick Jacques Roy

My definition of a hero is when the person you like as a hero has done many things. One thing he or she can do is play somekind of sport or has done something with their lives.My hero would be Patrick Roy. He was born October 5, 1965. His birth place was in Quebec City. Around the house he is usually a slob when doing everything especially when he eats. The sport that Patrick Roy plays is hockey for the Colorado Avalanche. Another sport that he loves to play is golf.

In Patrick Roy's childhood hood he was a very active child and loved to play all the time. He sometimes reminded his mom of Denis the Menace. When he was very young he was a very good swimmer. In school his favorite classes were math and physical education The job that he was planning to do was to become a lawyer or a notary. Patrick really enjoyed attending school. He has also been interested in hockey since he was eight years old. On Chrismas he even asked for a set of goalie pads.

Presently, he has brother namsd Stephane who is 30 years old, and a sister named Alexandra who is 23 years old. He lives with his wifeand her name is Michelle Piuze. They met at a softball game 12 years ago. They have two sons and teir names are Jonathan, who is eight and Frederick who is six. Tey also have daughter and her name is Jara. She is four years old. His best thing about him self is that he is honest and his worst is that he is a slob. Patrick is also very superstitious.

In Patricks career he has faced many opponents and he does not under estimate any of them. His most memorable moment was in the third game in th 1986 semi-finals against the New York Rangers. The Avalanche won 4-3 in overtime. This game got him off to good start in the NHL. For good luck Before every game he writes the names of his three chilren on his stick. Also, he does not really care how good he is by him self it is how good the whole team does, then personal awards.

Patririck Roy is my hero for many reasons. The first reason is that he has done many things with his life. The next reason is because he has become a great hockey player for the Colorado Avalanche. He has a wonderful life with his wife and three kids, Michelle Piuze, Jonathan, Frederick, and Jara. The last reason Why is my hero is because he is not worried about how good he does it is how the whole team does These are the reasons why Patrick Roy is my hero.
