Simon Bolivar

What is a hero? A hero is someone who is brave. A hero is strong, intelligent, and courageous. My hero is Simon Bolivar from Venezuela and he was a powerful liberator for that country.

My hero is Simon Bolivar. He lived in Venezuela and was born on July 24, 1783. He was raised by his uncle, but left him when he twelve. He studied the philosophies of Rousseau, Locke, and Voltaire. Simon Bolivar traveled to the United States and then thought Spain should also be independent.

Simon Bolivar liberated an entire country. He led the entire war to make the country independent. He wanted to make South America free and so he did. He was able to escape being captured and left to go to New Granada to continue to try to make the country independent. Simon Bolivar has accomplished many things he is a great man.

Simon Bolivar was a very kind man because he saved people that he did not know. He went above and beyond helping people. He was a supreme liberator. He did what he said he was going to do and more which makes him a trustworthy person. He is also very courageous because he led a war. Simon Bolivar has many great qualities about him.

In conclusion, heroes are brave, strong, and intelligent. My hero is Simon Bolivar and he has these qualities. I think he is courageous because he helped many people. Heroes are brave and intelligent that is why I think that Simon Bolivar is a hero.
