Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta
Lady GaGa

by Ellie from Cincinnati

Imagine every day being depressed. Well, that's what Lady GaGa deals with but that is what motivates her for what she does today. She was a very talented child. Depression was a big role in her life. She also helps a lot of families. She is a very brave person.

Lady GaGa is a singer and dancer. Her full name is Stefani Joanne Angelina GermannottaShe was born on March 28, 1986. She went to school at NYC School of Arts but later dropped out for creative inspiration. At 11 years old she got accepted into the Julliard School in Manhattan. She learned how to play the piano at 4 years old!

Lady GaGa struggles with depression and got bullied a lot when she was younger. Lady GaGa got bullied a lot when she was a teen and a child. She has struggled with depression every day for most of her life. She also struggles with anxiety. Recently Lady GaGa was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Lady GaGa has several accomplishments from her career and her foundation. Her 2nd single Poker Face got top charts in almost every category and in many countries. She helps families and children raise money and awareness for what they struggle with. The foundation helps kids believe in themselves and raise their self confidence. She has her own foundation called Born This Way.

Lady GaGa is brave for several reasons such as... Fighting through depression so she can pursue her dreams. Also she is brave enough to be a singer because some get a lot of hate. Lady GaGa is sweet, generous, caring, and nice.

Why Lady GaGa is important to me is because she helps families and kids through hard times. She can do anything she sets her mind to. She is a great role modelEven though she struggles with depression she fights through it. She took a few years off of singing because when she became famous she didn't really remember anything so she had to go find herself which makes her so strong for doing this. That is why Lady GaGa is important to me.
