Steve Jobs was always very interested in electronics as a kid and him and his step dad worked on small projects in their Silicon Valley home. This led Steve Jobs to begin his company "Apple" in his parent's garage with his partner Steve Wozniak. Jobs had sold his Volkswagen Bus and Wozniak sold his scientific calculator in order to help fund the new project. Jobs was just twenty one when he began his company, his goal was to create a series of simple and easy to use computers for everyday people around the world.

Steve Jobs had transformed the lives of many people in the world, he had changed how technology was viewed. "Along the way he helped to transform seven industries: personal computing, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, retail stores, and digital publishing," ( Isaacson). Jobs had transformed technology for everyday people . He had made sure that it wasn't only businesses who could get there hands on computers. This changed how people saw technology and gave people a chance to become more educated. "Jobs led a cultural transformation in the way music, movies and mobile communications were experienced in the digital age," (Markoff). Jobs showed people that technology can be used by everyone and for anything. He showed people that the computer is one of the most powerful machines in the world, and is capable of suiting all your academic and personal needs. People began viewing technology in a completely new way because of Jobs' work.

Steve Jobs created technology that was easier for everyone to use. He made it so regular people around the world had the privilege to use a computer. They didn't have to be experts, and could easily learn the basics of the "Apple" computer. "Jobs had built and marketed the first Apple computers, designed specifically to be user-friendly desktop machines for the general public," (Newsmakers). Jobs had focused on designing computers to be more simple and easier to use than most computers at the time. This showed that he cared about the people and wanted them to have access to one of the most powerful machines in the world. "Achieving this depth of simplicity, he realized, would produce a machine that felt as if it deferred to users in a friendly way, rather than challenging them," (Isaacson). Jobs did not want to make people frustrated and made his computers very easy to use. This shows that he wanted the world to know that anyone can use a computer and gave the people a huge academic and entertainment resource.

Steve Jobs showed that anyone can make something out of nothing. "The company Mr. Jobs and his high school friend Stephen Wozniak started in 1976 in a suburban California garage," (Markoff). At a young age of twenty-one, Jobs had started his company with a high-school friend in his parent's Silicon Valley garage. He created a multi-billionaire company in a small garage with only one other person. That proves that anything is possible as long as you believe you can achieve it. "Along the way he helped to transform seven industries: personal computing, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, retail stores, and digital publishing." (Isaacson). Jobs had completely changed how people could view these different entertainment sources. Before him, people couldn't watch movies on the go, or listen to music on their phones. This inspired many people to create new technology that would benefit people around the world. He showed success can come no matter how old you are or where you start out in the beginning.
