Seth Macfarlane is the funniest for his cartoon comedies. Born on October 26, 1973 in the small town of Kent, Connecticut, he lived with his father Ron, mother Perry, and sister Rachael. Seth went to the Rhode Island School of Design where he studied animation. Later on in his life he had many accomplishments in the TV business for his hilarious cartoons including "Family Guy", and "American Dad." Seth has followed in the footsteps of Matt Groening, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone.

Seth MacFarlane is a hero to all of his fans in many ways. He is a hero because all of his fans enjoy his hilarious cartoon comedies. Seth is also a hero because his creations will always bring a smile to your face, even if your feeling in the dumps.

Mr. MacFarlane has been lucky throughout his career. The luckiest moment in Seth's life was on September 11, 2001, when he was scheduled to return to Los Angeles on American Airlines Flight 11 after being a keynote speaker at his alma-mater in Rhode Island. But due to a mix-up by his travel agent, he was told that his flight was scheduled to depart at 8:15 a.m., when it really departed at 7:45 a.m. and he had arrived at Boston Logan Airport late. He was told he would have to wait for the next flight. At 8:45 a.m., one hour after the departure of American Airlines Flight 11, it was hijacked by terrorists and crashed into One World Trade Centers (North Tower) in New York City killing all on-board. He was able to contact his parents within 20 minutes of the tragic incident to tell them he was okay. He said that he thanked his travel agent for screwing up the departure time or he would have been on board.

He is the writer for the TV series "Family Guy," "American Dad," "Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy," "Dexter's Laboratory, "Johnny Bravo," and "Cow and Chicken." Seth also wrote the movies "Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" and "American Dad: The New CIA." Seth MacFarlane also produced the TV series "American Dad" and "Family Guy."

As you can see Seth MacFarlane has been and always will be a hero to fans because of his many talents. You can always count on Seth MacFarlane's cartoons to bring a smile to your face. That's why I chose Seth MacFarlane as my hero and we can celebrate Seth MacFarlane as a hero by having an all day Family Guy marathon.
